On A Cloudy I Asked My Father

On a cloudy day I asked my father,
If this planet is lovable and wise,
And he let me to a valley so deep,
The light of hope, being a love paradise.
"No, we are humans bound by sight,
Our eyes the camera with no light.
For a thing that should be an ice cream cone,
Is lost by you, doll,it's far and gone."
But dad I held the umbrella firm upright,
When he was standing in the rain !
Still in leisure I sometimes wonder,
Why all this love in vain !
"Because you thought your dry dress was a miracle,
While some person stood wet to the wave,
The one who already climbed the pinnacle,
However bloody,however naive."
I wonder why people are drilling me dad,
Just for I fell so deep in love ?
Just wait for years and youth in cheers,
Will relax age together at some cove.
"Sure, spend your leisure with a person however blunt,
The one in the back, not in the front.
As the eagle who'll care for your bagel,
Will love you more than the dove of the cove."
