Wings of Hope

Oh Lord! Take away all my sorrow,

And give me wings just like a sparrow. I want to hide inside a burrow, And rise to a new morning tomorrow.

Misery and sufferings should cease, Lead a life without any lease. I wish to swarm like bees, Collecting all the nectars of life with ease.

The sky is now clear, For me to fly without fear. Amongst all the cheer, I hop to new destinations like a deer.

I never think of being trapped again, Be free and ride on the success train. Negativity has gone down the drain, Located miles away from the happiness lane.

Time to leap into a new life, Killing all the 'evils' with a knife. Forgetting all the hate and strife, Start loving everyone and giving hi-fives.
