It is rightly said by someone that the world is round.
It is correctly proved by the way the journey of PV Sindhu has elapsed.

She won the Indian Open Super Series for the first time after she defeated top seed Carolina Marin of Spain in straight games 21-19, 21-16 in a mouth-watering final at Siri Fort Sports Complex in New Delhi.
It took Sindhu 47 minutes to beat her opponent. Earlier Sindhu was defeated by the same opponent in the Rio Olympics Gold Medal match and had to settle for a Silver Medal. So it was a sweet revenge for Sindhu.

With this victory, the 21-year old is unbeaten at home this year after winning Syed Modi International Title in January followed by this title. Also en route to the final, she defeated compatriot Saina Nehwal, who is considered the Badminton queen of India, in the quarterfinal. That game witnessed the transfer of rein of Indian Badminton from Nehwal to 5th-ranked Sindhu. This was Sindhu's second Super Series title after she won China Open Super Series in 2016.

Sindhu, who is the only Indian to win 2 World Championship medals, is on a dream run since winning the Malaysia Masters in 2016. The Indian fans hope that she soon reaches No.1 Rank in the world. So let’s hope that she brings many more laurels for the country.
