Dawn

In broad daylight,

Even the luminous of all,

Have a shadow.

As night takes over,

Reveal;

For the darkness outside,

Hides the darkness inside.

Feels right at home,

Eerie;

A sense of warmth in the ruthless cold.

So,

Let's make a cave,

Pitch dark,

And then make a fire,

Hot, intense, bright;

And explore;

Like travellers walking through the murals,

Of the first of us.

Let me in,

As you get deeper into my night,

And let there be light.
