My World

For years people talked about poverty and hunger

But these are just big talks, since the world is still in slumber

For years people talked about making the world a better place

But in every nook and corner, we see nothing but sad disgrace

We sing songs of peace, but wage battles

And millions of people, end up in shackles

Promises are made, but nothing is done

Look at the sad state in which the world has run

Corruption exists at large, but not driven away,

The very essence of living , may soon fade away.

Let’s come together and make a plan,

To improve, the dying state of man.

Let’s join forces and act strong,

And make the wall of peace very long.

Let’s drive away all worries and save humanity’s grace,

Let’s join together the whole world and make it a happy place.
