May Be It’s Too Early

May be its too early to say good bye without thinking of the consequences that it would have on our life after we leave. We have been the strength pillars for each other in hard times that we faced. We accepted all the challenges gleefully, but lost our final battle, when we needed each other. You asked me to just part ways so that you don’t have any grudges nor do I will have. It all happened with a smile many years back when we met in the midst of heavy rains. That rain played an important role in nurturing and developing bonding that lasted for these many years. We went through a lot of ups and downs of life, but we together faced them and always came up with a solution and tackled it boldly.

Today when you asked to me leave you, I was shocked and never thought this would ever happen with us. We had been good friends for these many years and now all of a sudden you decided that we should choose our own paths and move ahead. When you have decided to separate, than who am I to ask you why. The Lord has given you brains to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong. The best part of our friendship for these many years was that it survived just on one word- “faith”.

Faith is all that you need to maintain any relation for such a long time. I had faith in you that you won’t deceive me nor hurt my sentiments, but you did. To hurt someone’s sentiments is not a thing of appraisal. I don’t know what your expectations were, but I promised to deliver all your expectations and I did. I kept you happy and cheerful, even when I was on the low side. This is what a true friend does. But I guess, you didn’t consider me as a true friend. It is very sad on your side that you judged me wrong for no good reason and deserted me. I never tried to cheat or deceive you by any means, but it’s now OK with me. I have moved far ahead of all those memories that once we shared.

At the end I would just like to say you one thing and that is “BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR LIFE”. This short message is from that person who always thought of you, before self.
